She first auditioned for the show in Series 3 but was rejected at Bootcamp.

Returning eleven years later sporting dramatic weight loss, she impressed all of the judges and made it successfully to Judges' Houses as part of the Over 28s category mentored by Nicole Scherzinger, who selected her as one of the finalists for the live shows.

She made it to Week 2 where she was eliminated in 13th place.
