Series 1 began in June 23, 2012 with a judging lineup of Gary Valenciano, Charice Pempengco, Martin Nievera and Pilita Corrales and hosted by KC Concepcion. This season was eventually won by 20-year-old KZ Tandingan who was mentored by Charice Pempengco in the Girls category.
