She auditioned for Series 10 of The X Factor UK and made it all the way to the live shows as part of the Girls category mentored by Nicole Scherzinger. Due to the eliminations of Abi Alton and Hannah Barrett, Foster is the only act left in her category. She was eliminated in the quarter-final, finishing in 5th place.
