Ryan Lawrie (born 28 May 1996) is a Scottish singer from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire who competed in Series 13 of The X Factor as part of the Boys category mentored by Nicole Scherzinger. Initially eliminated at the Six Chair Challenge he was selected as a wildcard by Simon Cowell. He was eliminated in Week 7, finishing in 6th place.
The X Factor[]
He auditioned for Series 13 and auditioned the judges with The Vamps' cover of "Cecilia". He successfully made it all the way to the Six Chair Challenge as part of a group but was eliminated. However, he was given a second chance as he was selected as a wildcard by Simon Cowell and joined the Boys category mentored by Nicole Scherzinger. She chose him as one of her Top 3 for the live shows.
In Weeks 2, 3 and 4, he landed in the Bottom Three but was saved all three weeks by the lifeline vote. In Week 6, he landed in the Bottom Two alongside Sam Lavery but was saved after the result went to deadlock.
In Week 7, he again found himself in the Bottom Two, this time alongside controversial contestant Honey G but was eliminated in a majority vote.

- Contrary to media reports, he and fellow finalist Emily Middlemas have been in a relationship since 2015.
- In Week 2, Saara Aalto received more votes than Lawrie and Parker in the main public vote. This meant that if Aalto won the lifeline vote or if there was not a lifeline vote, Lawrie would have faced Freddy Parker in the sing-off but in that scenario, if the result went to deadlock, Parker would have been eliminated.
- In Week 7, Lawrie received more public votes than Honey G. This meant that if the result went to deadlock, Lawrie would have advanced to the quarter-final and Honey G would have been eliminated.
