Norbert Bondin is a Maltese singer. He auditioned for Season 1 of X Factor Malta and made it all the way to the semi final as part of the Boys category mentored by Ira Losco.

He was eliminated on the second night of the semi final, finishing in 6th place after receiving the fewest public votes.

Post The X Factor

In 2022, Bondin competed in the Maltese National Eurovision Finals which were the method used to select the 2022 Maltese EuroVision representative rather than the Maltese version of 'The X Factor'. During the National selection Bondin sang 'How Special You Are' which was a song written by Shaun Farrugia, Peter Borg, & Norbert himself. Bondin performed the song in his Semi-Final and reached the Final, and then performed the song again in the Final, placing 4th overall behind Nicole Azzopardi, & Aidan who came both 3rd & 2nd respectively, with the Maltese National Selection being won by Emma Muscat with her single 'Out Of Sight', which is to represent the country of Malta in the EuroVision Song Contest 2022.

Trivia

• In 2013 Bondin won he Teen Singing Challenge hosted during the Sas-Sitta programme on Net TV, and following this win he placed second overall on the Maltese Version of 'Don't Stop Me Now'. According to DailyStar Bondin had also previously auditioned for a Maltese Talent show known as 'Entertain Me', at an undisclosed point in time.
• He auditioned for the tenth series of Britain's Got Talent, however his audition was never televised. This information is known as a card displaying the name 'Norbert' can be found during the deliberations, and can be further proven by the fact that he discussed this audition in an interview with LovinMalta wherein he stated the fact that he had sang 'Say Something' by A Big Blue World in his audition and reached the second round with four yes votes from the judges.
• In 2018, prior to competing on X Factor Malta, Norbert competed on the first series of the BBC's 'All Together Now', wherein he once again sang 'Say Something', moving the 100 judges to tears. He was later placed in a sing-off against Chloe Griffiths wherein he sang 'Next to Me' by Emili Sandé, however was ultimately eliminated over Griffiths.
