Nigar Jamal (born 7 September 1980) is an Azerbaijani-Turkish-British contemporary singer who acted as a judge for Season 1 of X Factor Turkey. She mentored the Over 27s category and won with her last-remaining act Halil Polat.

  • She is best-known internationally for winning the annual Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 for her birth country as part of the duo Ell and Nikki. Their song provided the breakthrough for The X Factor UK vocal coach Iain James as a songwriter and Jedward, who placed 6th in the sixth series in 2009, represented their home country Ireland the same year, finishing in 8th place.
  • Prior to her win with Ell and Nikki, she lived and worked in the UK, and, a short time after her triumph, openly talked to British tabloids about an attempt to audition for the UK series that she made.
