Melanie Janine Brown (born 29 May 1975), better known as Mel B or Scary Spice, is an English singer-songwriter, dancer, actress, author, television personality, model, and talent show judge who first became well known as part of the all-female pop group Spice Girls where she was famously known as Scary Spice. They have sold 75 million albums worldwide, making them the biggest selling female group of all time and one of the best-selling music artists in the world. She's also released 2 solo albums, Hot (2000) and L.A. State of Mind (2005).
She has also worked as a talent show judge on The X Factor Australia for 2 years and has been a judge on America's Got Talent since that show's 8th season. She was a judge/coach on The Voice Kids Australia, which started in mid-2014. She joined Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, and Louis Walsh as a judge on Series 11 of The X Factor, where she had previously been a guest mentor in Series 9, mentoring the Boys catagory. It was confirmed on June 16, 2015 that she wouldn't be returning to the show.
At the start of 2021, it was revealed that she partook in the 2nd UK series of The Masked Singer as the Seahorse.
The X Factor
The producers of The X Factor UK were planning on giving Mel B the role of the female judge on series 1 of The X Factor UK. However due to difficulties Sharon Osbourne took the role of a judge.

Trivia:
In 2018, a clip of Mel being groped by Louis Walsh resurfaced, which lead to fans complaining about how sexual harassment is handled in the world.
