Post-The X Factor[]
Following the release of his winner's single, it went on to become the UK Christmas #1 and sold over 400,000 copies, making him the best-selling male artist of the year.
His follow-up single "Don't Call This Love" was another Top 3 hit but his debut studio album "Right Now" was released the same week as runner-up Rhydian Roberts' debut effort and charted one place lower at #4. However, it was certified Gold by the BPI.
Two more singles proved less successful, with the latter failing to chart and he was eventually dropped by Syco.
Since then, he has faded into obscurity and a nationwide poll put him behind Series 1 winner Steve Brookstein in a poll of reality TV flops.
