John Patrick "Johnny" Ruffo (8 March 1988—10 November 2023) was an Australian dance-pop singer. He auditioned for Season 3 of The X Factor Australia and made it all the way to the final as part of the Boys category mentored by Guy Sebastian.
He finished in 3rd place behind runner-up Andrew Wishart and winner Reece Mastin. He later won the twelfth season of the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars, and later portrayed the role of Chris Harrington on the soap, Home and Away.
In 2017, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. While battling it, he became active in cancer awareness. His cancer later went into remission after treatment; unfortunately, it had a recurrence in 2020. After battling it with further treatment for three years, Ruffo succumbed to brain cancer on 10 November 2023.
