Futureproof were a five-member British male pop vocal group consisting of members Aaron Delahunty, Adam Chandler, Matthew Protheroe, Richard Wilkinson and Sean Rumsey.
Initially rejected at the auditions as soloists in Series 4 of The X Factor UK, they were put together as a group and were mentored by Simon Cowell. They were eliminated from the competition in Week 3, finishing in 9th place after losing the sing-off to fellow category member Hope.
Matthew Protheroe, going by the stage name Vince Kidd, auditioned for the 2012 series of The Voice UK and joined Jessie J's team. He reached the final, finishing in 4th place and went on to release an EP. Sean Rumsey auditioned for the show the following year but was knocked out in the Battle rounds.
Adam Chandler joined swing band Jack Pack who reached the final of the eighth series of Britain's Got Talent, finishing in 4th place.
