Production[]

Cowell also announced its replacement is a show to find boy or a girl group. He has also admitted that the show is to compete with Little Mix's new band recruitment show The Search which was intended to air in Spring 2020, but pushed back to Autumn of that year due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The judging panel was announced on the 27 November 2019. It consists of Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger meaning that Louis Walsh and Paula Abdul would not be judging the series.
