Fernando Montesinos (born 19 March 1972) is a Spanish music producer, musician and songwriter, best known for playing the bass in hard rock/heavy metal band Obús.
Montesinos started out in 1990 as a sound assistant in Madrid's Fairlight studios, owned by Nacho Cano, who offered him another job as a backline technician in Mecano's Aidalai tour after closing the studio late in the year. From then on he landed several gigs as stage manager, backline technician or event producer until 1999, when he decided to pursue a career as music producer. The first album entirely produced by him, Pereza's "Algo para cantar", was released in 2003. Since 2010, Montesinos serves as producer and bassist for Spanish hard rock band Obús.
In 2018, he was announced as a jury member for the third series of Factor X Spain, being the only member of the panel with no previous experience as a talent show juror.
