Season 4 of Factor X Spain ran from April 17 to June 10, 2024 on Telecinco.
Production[]
Six years after reviving the series for the first time in 2018, Telecinco brought back Factor X for a new series in 2024. This season will be produced by Fremantle and feature an all-new panel of judges composed of singers Willy Bárcenas, Lali, Abraham Mateo and Vanesa Martín. Ion Aramendi was appointed as the new host, taking over from Jesús Vázquez.
Twists/Changes[]
In March 2024 it was revealed that this series would be abandoning the format's traditional division into categories, allowing the judges to include solo acts and groups in their teams, with no age- or gender-based restrictions either.
The auditions were held in front of a studio audience for the first time, and at the end of each of the five audition episodes, each of the judges would choose their favorite auditionee of the night to add them to their team. The order in which judges picked would change each week. At the end of auditions, each judge would have a wildcard to pick an additional member for their team out of the auditionees that had received at least three out of four yes votes.
The acts picked from the auditions and the wildcards would then advance to the Chair Challenge, where each judge would select their three acts for the live show. After the Chair Challenge, judges were given an option to swap out one of their picks with one of the discarded acts from the other three judges.
Due to poor ratings, the six live shows planned for the final stage of the competition were reduced to three.

Swaps[]
Immediately after the conclusion of the Chair Challenge, all four judges were offered the possibility to swap out one of their three picks for one of the discarded acts from the other three judges. Only Willy Bárcenas used this option, swapping out Nacho Nacif to add Danel (originally Vanesa Martín's wildcard) to his team. Nacif would ultimately rejoin Willy's team for the live shows after Zoe Ravier had to withdraw for personal reasons.
