Season 2 of Factor X Spain ran from 22 September 2008 to 11 November 2008 on Cuatro.

It was won by acapella boy band Vocal Tempo who were mentored by Jorge Flo in the Groups category.

Twists/Changes

This series had a total of 16 finalists instead of the 12 from Season 1, but it has to be noted that 15 started on week 1 and, midway through the competition, three contestants discarded in pre-selection were given a chance to compete for a wildcard spot, which was obtained by eventual runner-up Laura Gónzalez. Presumably to accommodate to the scaled-up amount of finalists, the first live show featured three elimination duels involving the bottom two of each category.
