Just before Christmas 2012, she confirmed that she had signed a deal with Syco Music. She is most famous for her 2014 UK #1 and US Top 20 single "Ghost", which was part of her UK #1 and US Top 20 debut album "Chapter One". She has toured with Gary Barlow and James Arthur, as well as Rudimental, and after being dropped Syco in 2018, with her second album still unreleased, joined the latter's label.

Trivia[]
- She is related to Series 1 finalist Verity Keays. The latter is a cousin of one of her parents.
- Following her performance of Cher's 'Believe' at Bootcamp, the singer herself took to Twitter to praise her rendition.
- Her elimination was seen as highly controversial since both Christopher Maloney and Rylan Clark had been voted safely through to the quarter-finals and as a result odds on Maloney winning the show were slashed and there were also calls for it to be cancelled. Presenter Dermot O'Leary claimed that her exit was the biggest shock up to that point in his time as presenter and called her the most talented singer he had seen on the show.
