Cezar Ouatu (born 18 February 1980), is a tenor and Singing Teacher from Ploiești, Romania who auditioned for The X Factor UK (Series 15).
He recieved rave reviews for his audition, which was a cover of "Nessum Dorma", and was widely praised by the judges, but he was eliminated during the Six Chair Challenge.

He is infamous for having won the right to represent his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with Pop-opera piece "It's My Life", which became notorious for its homoerotic staging, as well as Cezar's impressive vocals and the song's eurodance-electro beat, and placed 14th in the final in Malmo, Sweden. A few days after the contest, he performed with Andrea Boccelli.
He is often nicknamed The Voice for his powerful contratenor vocals.
He was one of 4 non-UK Eurovision related acts in that series of X Factor, along with Athena Manoukian (attempted to represent Greece at junior, won the right to represent Armenia at the regular contest),Brendan Murray (represented Ireland) and Gaia Cauchi, who was a part of Sweet Sense during this series (Junior winner, Malta).
