Britney Jean Spears (born 2 December 1981) is a Grammy Award-winning pop singer and entertainer from Kentwood, Louisiana who first gained notice as a contestant on the popular talent show Star Search and then appeared for two seasons on The Mickey Mouse Club alongside other future stars like Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling.
