Amy “Ariel” Burdett also known as Arabella Starchild (1981-12 November 2019) was a self-proclaimed "holistic vocal coach" from Wakefield who auditioned for Series 5 of The X Factor UK. She did not pass the audition stage after singing her own piece which she branded an academic construction. She is remembered for her scary look and her voice which Simon branded a ‘nightmare’.

On the 12 November 2019, Burdett was found dead in her home in Leeds. She was found with stab wounds on her neck. Her death is considered to be not suspicious; thus, the stab wound was self-inflicted, ruling her death as a suicide.
