Ant & Seb were a group from Wales who auditioned for the fifth series of The X Factor. They are known for their entertaining rendition of Mysterious Girl on UK Talent Competition the X Factor. The pair's audition has since become one of the singing competition's most memorable, with many other TikTok and Instagram creators miming along to it.
Louis Walsh was nodding along approvingly as Ant began to sing — surprisingly well, too. But then Seb jumped in with an impromptu freestyle of bizarre Jamaican robot sounds that completely derailed the performance and destroyed Ant’s chances of getting through.
After receiving three firm “no’s” from Louis, Cheryl, and Simon, the duo still refused to give up. Moments later, Ant struck again — this time outside the audition room — by Rickrolling Simon Cowell himself. Not even the bodyguard could stop the rickroll, but Simon, clearly unimpressed, eventually snapped and told him to “shut up.”
