Abraham Mateo (born 25 August 1998) is a Spanish singer, songwriter and record producer who is set to be a judge on the fourth series of Factor X Spain.
Mateo's music career kicked off at the age of seven, when he started winning prizes in children's contests and became a regular cast member in Canal Sur children's show Menuda noche. Around the age of ten he signed with EMI and released his self-titled debut album Abraham Mateo (2009). Leaving EMI for Sony, in 2012 he released his second album AM, which included his breakout single "Señorita". In 2014, Mateo served as an opening act for One Direction in several of their concerts in Spain, Chile and Peru.
Mateo has released four more albums, Who I Am (2014), Are You Ready? (2016), A Cámara Lenta (2018), Sigo a lo mío (2020) and Insomnio (2024). He has also produced songs for Spanish pop group Lérica, which includes his brother Tony.
